Alert Level 3 returns
You may now be aware that the government has placed Auckland back under Level 3 restrictions for 3 days until midnight Friday 14th August.
This means our club will be closed until further notice.
The yard will be closed and gates locked at midday today. The club is located on an Auckland Council owned recreational reserve. The Auckland Council previously instructed the Club to close the yard under Alert Level 3. This remains the council’s position.
Should we move to Alert Level 2 of Saturday the yard will be reopened, but with our previous established Covid-19 protocols in place, being limiting access, locking the gate, social distancing, and contact tracing.
Boating is permitted but not encouraged under Level 3. Therefore the jetty will remain open at this stage. However should social distancing protocols not to be observed this decision will be reassessed if necessary.
The boat ramp is a council operated facility. Auckland Council Boat ramps currently remain open.
