Join Stillwater Boating Club Incorporated

Membership is open to all persons subscribing to the Constitution of the club. You do not have to be a boat owner to join. A once only nomination (joining) fee is applicable.

Membership benefits include access/use of:

  • Boat Ramp
  • Jetty
  • Pontoon
  • Boatyard for Haulout and Maintenance
  • Dingy Lockers
  • Club rooms - bar and restaurant
  • Fishing competitions and many social events

There are 3 levels of membership, family, individual and associate:

Family and Individual include all benefits with the club, and an Associate membership does not include use of the boating facilities.

Your new membership application needs to be proposed and seconded by existing members, and will be put before the committee for approval at the next monthly meeting.

You can visit the club 3 times without being a member, so why not visit the club, enjoy the food and company, and see what we are all about. Children are welcome.

We do require that visitors enter their name and address into the visitors book and be endorsed by the signature of a club member.

Conduct and standard of dress is detailed on the Club Rules page. We ask that all members, visitors and staff be mindful of their conduct as we are a family club, and do not wish to cause offence to anyone. A good standard of dress is also expected.

Membership Types

Family $100

Spouses each have voting rights. One spouse may hold committee position. Families should live at same address. Includes children under 18yrs. Over 18 are welcome as guests (subject to club rules), but are not included.

Individual $85

Individual has voting rights. May hold committee position. Family are welcome as guests (subject to club rules), but are not included in the Individual Membership.

Associate $50

Social Membership only - no voting rights, no committee rights. No right to bring guests. Use of club rooms / bar only - no boating facilities.

New Membership - 50% discount after 1 Feb (excludes joining fee)

Membership Renewal

Complete the application and pay online, or download and print the renewal form, fill in all details and take it to the club to pay at the bar during opening hours, or email back to admin@swbc.co.nz.

You new card and parking stickers will be issued at the club, or mailed out to those that complete membership renewal online.
