Current COVID-19 alert level

Club facility closures

This notice is to advise that the Stillwater Boating Club wharf, club rooms and hardstand are now all closed until further notice, during the COVID-19 lock down period. We do not condone any activity that breaks the rules laid out to us by the government and encourage you all to cooperate and support us with this.

The hardstand work area and club house was closed on Day 1, but unfortunately due to a small few not abiding by the guidelines of not swimming, boating, fishing and keeping the physical distancing rule of 2 metres, we have also decided it is in the best interest of the community to close our club wharf as well. Please note the wharf is privately owned by the club and is under our management.

I know it is not easy situation for many, and well done to all those who are managing to keep within the rules. We are very lucky to have the seashore and country at our doorstep and can still enjoy this on our short walks from home. Please everyone the sooner we unite to stop the spread of this virus the sooner we can get back to some of the activities we have here in Stillwater. Don't put yourself, others, or our volunteers, i.e. coastguard and medical workers, at any more risk than need be.

Be safe and hang in there! SWBC Committee
