Club Operations for Level 2 this weekend

Hi everyone,

We find ourselves under Level 2 restrictions for this coming weekend until further notice from the government on Monday - if not sooner. See government web site - https://covid19.govt.nz/

To update you on what is happening regarding club matters please see below:

The club is open tonight (Friday 19th) and Sunday (21st) to all members with a limit on 100 persons at one time. Please follow the rules we have put in place to manage Level 2 requirements:

Everyone entering the clubhouse and licensed area is to scan the QR tracer code and/or manually sign our register sheet provided.

Keep 1 metre distance between tables and people not on your table.

Stay seated at your table during your visit, unless you are paying, using the bathroom or leaving. This means no standing and mingling around tables, bar or kitchen for any other reason.

We encourage you to wear a mask if you feel uncomfortable while visiting us.

Wash your hands well and maintain good hygiene standards.

The Ladies Fishing Competition is going ahead tomorrow (Saturday 20th), and due to the limit of 100 persons, we need to give the entrants and their crew first entry to the clubhouse for weigh-in
and prize-giving. This mean we will unfortunately be closed to all other members that are not involved in the fishing competition.

Sunday Sounds on Sunday 21st has been cancelled for this weekend, but if we come out of Level 2 we may re-book them for next Sunday - will let you know next week.

As long as Jane and the Waterwise team are all good to operate,Waterwise will be okay to go ahead on Sunday.

Yard operations and water activites are active, but you still need to take some precautions. More information at this link if you scroll down their page.

Please stay at home if you are unwell and get some advice on what to do, or if you have been in the places the positive cases have been. This is potentially a "tricky" virus, and previously negative cases are now positive.

This takes a lot of our time to prepare and manage for you and we would appreciate your understanding and support, so we can all stay safe.

Kind regards

Stillwater Boating Club Committee
